What is permanent jewellery?
Permanent jewellery refers to bracelets, anklets, and necklaces that are welded onto the wearer, creating a seamless and permanent piece of jewellery.
What materials are used for permanent jewellery?
We offer permanent jewellery in Sterling Silver, 14ct Gold Filled, and Solid Gold. Each material is carefully selected for its durability and aesthetic appeal.
What are the age requirements for this service?
To receive our permanent jewellery services, you must be over 18 years old. Customers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Are there any medical conditions that prevent me from getting permanent jewellery?
Yes, for safety reasons, you cannot receive permanent jewellery if you have a pacemaker.
If you are currently pregnant you will be asked to complete a waiver.
Is the welding of permanent jewellery safe?
Permanent Jewellery is a perfectly safe procedure when the correct safety measures are followed. You will be asked to wear goggles to protect your eyes from the brief but strong light pulse from the welder. A piece of leather or vegan leather will be placed between your skin and the jewellery whilst the weld takes place to protect your skin.
What safety precautions are in place?
- We provide protective glasses that must be worn during the welding process.
- We advise against any sudden movements to prevent the welder from scratching or burning your skin.
What should I do if I have a metal sensitivity or allergy?
You should not undergo the permanent jewellery service if you have a known sensitivity or allergy to metals. Additionally, if you have any other condition that might make this experience unsafe, it is advised to refrain from the service.
Can permanent jewellery break or stretch?
Yes, while designed to be durable, our permanent jewellery can break or stretch if pulled or caught.
Is it not dangerous to have a piece of jewellery permanently attached? What if I catch it on something?
Each chain has been tested to ensure that it has an appropriate ‘Break Point’. This means that should you catch the item, it should break before causing any serious injury.
I need to have an MRI can my permanent jewellery be removed?
Yes, despite being called "permanent," the jewellery can be easily removed if required with a pair of pliers. If your jewellery needs to be removed for medical purposes, ROKK will offer a free reweld when you are ready. Or for a small charge a standard clasp can be added so you can continue to enjoy your jewellery.
What happens if my jewellery falls off or gets removed?
ROKK Jewellery offers a free one-time re-weld within 30 days of purchase if your jewellery falls off or is removed. However, we cannot be held accountable for any loss of jewellery. In the case of loss within the initial 30 days, we offer a 50% discount on a replacement item.
Are there any guarantees or warranties on permanent jewellery?
Permanent jewellery sales are final and not eligible for refunds at any time. We do, however, provide a free one-time re-weld within 30 days and a 50% discount on a replacement if the item is lost during this period.
Can photos or videos be taken during the service?
Yes you can. Also, by receiving our services, you will be asked if you consent to the use of photos and videos being taken during the service for promotional purposes by ROKK Jewellery.
What is the liability policy for permanent jewellery services?
By signing our waiver, you acknowledge the risks associated with permanent jewellery and voluntarily choose to undergo this service, releasing ROKK Jewellery from any liability.
Do you offer Packages?
Yes, we offer many party package options where we can come to you. our most popular package is our hen party bundle, however we are happy to work with you to provide the best option for your group.
